The Kumbh Mela is a mass hindu pilgrimage held in four indian cities (Allahabad, Haridwar, Nasik, Ujjain) every three years by rotation. In 2013 the festival was organised in Allahabad where at least 100 million people came to bath in the bank of the Sangam, at the confluence of the sacred Ganga, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati rivers.
